Pre-Conference Workshops

The pre-conference workshops will be held at the Adelaide Health Simulation, Adelaide Health & Medical Sciences building, The University of Adelaide (4 North Terrace, Adelaide) the morning of Wednesday 16th October prior to the Welcome Lunch at the Hilton.  Participation is an additional cost.  Each workshop has a limited number of participants that can attend and bookings will be taken in a first come, first served basis.  Delegates and non-delegates as welcome to book.

CENA Members and Full-Time Students can book one 1.5 hour workshop for $30 or two for $50.

Non-Members can book one 1.5 hour workshop for $50 or two for $90.

At the conclusion of the workshops delegates will be guided to the free tram that will drop them directly outside the conference venue – Hilton Adelaide at Victoria Square.  Make sure you catch the tram labelled GLENELG

Workshop 1

Difficult Airway

The patients Saturations are dropping. Get the difficult airway trolley! In this workshop Dr Fergusson will explore how to recognise airway difficulties and manage them within an emergency department setting.

Paediatrics

ABG Interpretation
